Literature. The word is often heard by almost all people in the world. In fact what is so very interesting literature for some people. Literature (Sanskrit: शास्त्र, shastra) is the word of the language serapan Sanskrit literature, which means "a text that contains the instructions" or "guidance", from basic word-sas which means "instruction" or "teachings". In English the word is usually used to refer to "literary" or a type of words that have a particular meaning or beauty. In addition, in the sense of literary, literature can be divided into literature written or oral literature (oral literature). Here the literature is not much in touch with any posts, but with language that is used as vehicle to express a certain thought or experience. Literary usually divided according to geographical region or language. Literature, especially in Indonesia has a variety of things to be very diverse. This article is only the beginning as in the other sub-division. In the literature is divided into various ideas that underlie and encompass the work of literature. In fact, the work of literature is divided into three: drama, poetry, prose. Historical development of literature is like any other science that also has a history.
